We're not only about fantastic fitness programs and awesome music; what really makes our classes great are the instructors! They're friendly and talented and strive to make sure you work hard, have fun and enjoy your class so you'll want to come back again and again.
So, who are they?
Angie Howden-Duke, is a BCRPA certified Group Fitness instructor, personal trainer and life coach, wife and mother of 1 and expecting another wee one at the end of the year. She loves to inspire people to be better and keep them moving forward. She's hooked on exercise and group fitness in particular - she loves how the music motivates and makes you want to move!
What she loves about instructing? - motivating and inspiring people to feel better. Her philosophy is; when the body feels great and is healthy, then other areas in your life become more manageable and enjoyable.
Qualifications:
Kristen Gilbert, became a Group Power participant after the birth of her daughter, and was inspired to become an instructor when she saw how dramatically the class changed the way her body looked, and felt. She loves how being stronger makes her better at just about everything else in life. Now a certified Group Fitness instructor, Kristen draws on her dancing background to motivate class members through Group Power's great tunes, and through her attention to maintaining good form.
